- Where did you hear this? v.FC supports all the speeds between 14.4 and
- 28.8 that v.34 does. This includes 14.4K, 16.8K, 19.2K, 21.6K, 24K,
- 26.4K, and 28.8K. v.34 DOES have the benefit that if your line is really,
- really *AWFUL* then it can go BELOW 14.4K, supporting speeds all the way
- down to 2400bps. (This does not include 22.6). If you are connecting
- 14.4K with v.FC, one of two things is wrong - either the other modem does
- not support v.FC, just v.34, and you're falling back to v.32bis, or you
- need to complain to the phone company.
